Laverna Horrocks Beecroft, age 86, passed away August 31, 1996, in Salt Lake City of causes incident to age.
Born December 2, 1909, in Jensen, Utah, to David and Caroline Dudley Horrocks. married Lamont Miles Beecroft, April 3, 1929, in Price, Utah; marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Lamont preceded her in death on September 9, 1988.
Survivors children, Thora (Stanley) Thayno of Lewiston, Utah, David (Nola) of Lehl, Utah, Betty Onfiveros of Tuscon, Ariz., Charles (Jocelyn) of Bountiful, Utah, Bruce (Roma) of South Jordan. 13 grandchildren and many great grandchildren, brother Harold Horrocks of Salt Lake City, sister, Vella Pilali of Murray Utah.
Preceded in death by a son, Joseph, a brother, Marlon, a son-in-law, Michael Onliveros, and infant great-grandson.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 4, at 1 p.m. at Jenkins-Solfe Mortuary, 4760 South State, Murray, Utah. Friends may call Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the mortuary and Wednesday, one hour prior to the service. Interment, South Jordan City Cemetery.
