Funeral of the Late Mrs. Beecroft
Was Held in Sheridan Saturday.
The funeral of the late Mrs. H. L. Beecroft, who died at her home in Newcastle last Thursday, was held from the Christian Church in Sheridan Saturday forenoon. A large number of friends and relatives of the deceased lady were present from the nearby towns and escorts from the Pythian Ladies' and Brotherhood Lodges of Roseville, of which deceased was a member, acted as pall-bearers. Rev. Thorp of Wheatland officiated at the church and fraternal ceremonies were performed by officers of the lodges at the grave in Sheridan cemetery. Many handsome floral pieces were in evidence of the esteem in which Mrs. Beecroft was held in the community.

General Notes: Husband - Harry Lucien Beecroft
In 1885, when he was 19, Harry joined the military and served in Stockton, California (Co A, 6th Infantry Battalion Manager). By 1890 he was living in Placer County and the next year he married Agnes A Miller. Together, they had three sons and one daughter.
After Agnes died in 1909, Harry moved frequently, primarily within Northern California. For the most part, Harry worked as a printer.
He died on February 26, 1928, in Placer County, at the age of 62. He may have been buried in Auburn, California; however, there are no documents to support this theory.
