Gray - Mrs. John H. Becraft, 63, died Sept. 1, 1958, in the Herkimer Memorial Hospital after a short illness.
A native of Gray, she was the former Allie M. Sperl, daughter of Andrew and Jane Firth Sperl. She married Mr. Becraft Oct. 21, 1913, in Gray. He died Oct. 14, 1942.
Mrs. Becraft was a member of the Methodist Church and the W. S. C. S. of Gray.
She leaves a son, John of Glens Falls; three daughters, Mrs. Sheldon Lodge and Misses Elsie and Helen Becraft, all of Gray; and four grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 2 Thursday from her late home with the Rev. Frank Smith of LaFargeville, former pastor of the Gray Methodist Churh and the Rev. Nelson Reppert, pastor of the Newport Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Hurricane Cemetery in Gray.
