Barnes, 92, a resident of Louisville for the past 75 years, died Thursday, May 29, 1958 at Hale Nursing Home, Deer Park Road, Westminster. He was born in Pittsburgh, a son of the late William H. and Cordelia Barnes and was a retired carpenter. His wife, Ida J. Barnes, died in 1936. Surviving is a son, Charles B., Louisville.

The funeral was held Sunday at the C.M. Waltz Funeral Home, Winfield, in charge of the Rev. Duane Churchman, pastor of Calvary Methodist Church, Gamber. Burial took place in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Gamber.

Death was caused by apoplexy. She was the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth Williams. She is survived by her husband Lloyd Barnes, and the following children: William H., Charles B., and Mabel E. Barnes; also two sisters, Mrs. Agnes Welch and Mrs. Florence Blizzard.

Services will take place at Mount Pleasant Church with interment at the adjoining cemetery.
