SonLeonard Beecroft M 15 Arizona. • He was Mormon Missionaries on 24 Jul 1932. W.C. Beecroft & John A. Bigelow Part-time Missionaries.
• He worked as a Dissolution of partnership with Joseph P Lewis on 15 Apr 1935 in Douglas, Cochise, Arizona, United States. ...
Joseph was not able to go to Taylor for the funeral. He was detained in Douglas because of the illness of his partner, William C. Beecroft. He had been ill for a number of months, so sick that he had been unable to come into the store, leaving its operation entirely in Joseph's hands. Finally, on April 15, 1935, he and Joseph talked the matter over and decided that it would be best for them to dissolve their partnership. In doing so, Beecroft asked that his share be sold to his son-in-law, C. W. Harrell, who would come into the concern as a full partner.
Thus, after twenty-five years of doing business together, Joseph and William C. Beecroft had ended their association in the "New and Second Hand Furniture" store at 1110 G Avenue. Their parting must have been a sad affair, for they had been more than business partners. Through all of these years they had been close friends and fellow members of the Douglas Branch. While Joseph had been president, William Beecroft had been a counselor; thus, they had had many opportunities to learn to know and respect each other as they worked together in this sweet, spiritual responsibility.• He appeared on the Federal census in 1940 in Douglas, Cochise, Arizona, United States.
