• His obituary was published in The Windsor Star (Windsor, Ontario) on 23 Oct 1956. William Beecroft, lifelong Windsor resident, who was found dead Sunday, 21 Oct 1956 at his residence, 649 Cataraqui St. He was 63. Mr. Beecroft was a Ford of Canada employee 23 years, retiring a few years ago due to ill health.

He is survived by one brother, Albert, and a sister, Mrs. Ethel Monforton, both of Windsor. Service were held at Anderson Funeral Home, 895 Ouellette Ave., with Rev. F. C. McRitchie officiating. Burial is in Victoria Memorial Park.
