A resident of Windsor for 70 years Wilfred Beecroft 73 of 649 Cataraqui street died yesterdav in Hotel Dieu Hospital, following an illness of four years.
Born in England he came to Windsor when three years old where he lived for the rest of his life. Retiring 10 years ago he was a car inspector for the Canadian National Railway for 43 years.
Mr. Beecroft w as a member of the Independent Older of Foresters and a member of All Saint Anglican Church. Surviving are his widow. Annie: two sons William and Albert, of Windsor, one daughter. Mrs. Wallace Monforton of Windsor; one brother. William, of Windsor, and two sisters. Mrs. J A Newman of St Marys, and Mrs. H. Flint, of Owen Sound. Funeral services at Albemy J. Janisse Funeral Home, 411 Sandwich street east, with Canon P. N. Harding, rector of All Saints Anglican Church, officiating. Burial In Victoria Memorial Paik Cemetery.
