Funeral services for Roy Beacroft, 54-year-old resident of Tahlequah for several years, were held Wednesday afternoon at the Reed-Culver chapel. Beacroft was a veteran of World War I and had done carpenter work here. He died Sunday at the Veerans hospital in McKinney, Texas, as a result of a heart condition.
Burial was in the City cemetery under the direction of the Reed-Culver funeral home. Members of the American Legion served as pallbearers. Beacroft was a member of the Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Surviving are a brother, Russel, of Tucson, Ariz., and four sisters, Mrs. Frances F. Lawrence, San Antonio, Texas; Mrs. R. S. Mounts and Mrs. J. J. Mounts, both of Washington, Pa., and Mrs. Martha Walters of Newark, New Jersey.

Mrs. Ida Mae Justus Beacroft age 26, of Pawhuska, died at the home of her parents Mr. and Mrs. B.M. Justus, widely known Tahlequahans, her Saturday August 17.
Mrs. Beacroft was born March 4, 1903, at Tahlequah and lived here until 1923 when she was married in Bartlesville later making her home in Pawhuska.
She is survived by her husband, Roy Beacroft, parents Mr. and Mrs. B.M. Justus and the following brothers and sisters: Claude Justus of Dallas, Jay Justus of Sherman, Texas, Jim and Andres Justus of Tahlequah, Miss Anna Justus of Santa Madea, Calif., Mrs. Flora Battle of Pawhuska; Mrs. L. Latta and Mrs. Josie Stiles of Tahlequah.
Funeral services were held at 2 Monday afternoon in the chapel of the Reed Funeral Home, Rev. T. O. Shanks officiating. Interment was made in the Ross cemetery at Park Hill.Marriage Events
