Dorothy "Dottie" Anderson, 72, Sharon, died Sunday, May 30, 2004, at her home.

She was born in Chicago June 2, 1931, the daughter of Stanley and Jean Jakubiec Sliwa.

She married Walter Anderson April 4, 1970, in Elgin, Ill.

She was a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church, Sharon.

She is survived by her husband; eight children, Linda Netzel, Poplar Grove, Ill., Laura Taylor, Sharon, Donna Beecroft and Paul Beecroft, Algonquin, Ill., John Beecroft, Forest Park, Ill., Kate Eichberger, Crystal Lake, Ill., Barbara Insalaco, Elgin, and Bruce Anderson, Belvidere, Ill.; seven grandchildren; and one sister, Joan Brandt, Sharon. She was preceded in death by one son, Robert Beecroft.

Funeral services will be private. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Sharon Township. Toynton's Sharon Funeral Home assisted the family with the arrangements.
