Events

• Her obituary was published in The Cumberland Mercury (Parramatta, NSW) on 25 May 1878. DEATH. -- I regret to record the death of Mrs. George Innes, daughter of Mr. John Beacroft, of South Creek. The poor lady had been married about 12 months, and having a presentiment that the coming trouble would be fatal she left Botany to come to her mother's residence. There both herself and child died. Their remains were followed to St. Mary's, South Creek, by hundreds of sorrowing relations and friends.
