General Notes: Husband - Frederick Ebenezer Beecroft

During the 1881 Census, Frederick was working with his sister Eliza and 10 year old niece Alberta King, on the Caradoc farm of Frances D. Watson. As a young man Frederick left the farm and went with his older brother William to Winnipeg, Manitoba. There, he and William eventually operated a laundry for a number of years. During these years he met and married Florence Rose Padgham. They were married November 8, 1893 . Manitoba. . There, Frederick and Florence had their oldest three children. Frederick left Florence and the girls and worked his way further west, to British Columbia. After establishing himself in Abbotsford, Frederick was joined by the family about 1898. The 1901 census shows them living in Burrard, Vancouver, B.C. They raised more children, and spent the rest of their lives there.
