It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our dear "Nana" Shirley Beecroft, age 94. Reunited with husband, Carl Beecroft (2002). Loving and caring mother of Randy (Kathy), Gary (Sandra) and Carl (Sandra L). Special Nana to Karrie (2002), Heather, Amanda, Shawna (Emmanuel Ledoux) and Ryan (Emily MacCulloch), and her great-grandchildren Kaley and Karalynn, and Leah and Dylan Rock. Cherished by Dorthy Porter (Wayne Namtu). Predeceased by parents George and Nellie Diett, brothers George and Robert, and in-laws Edward (Joan) Beecroft and Ella (Bill) Virtue. Nana worked from age 13, eventually doing factory work at Banner Metal and G.M. Trim Plant, retiring after sewing 25 years. A strong hard working woman, she was extremely proud of her home and garden, loved camping and her trailers, golfing, playing cards and games, but especially enjoyed bringing the family together. She will be lovingly remembered by all her family, neighbours, friends, and her G.M. Trim "daughters". Special thanks to Oak Park LaSalle and Brouillette Manor for their care and compassion. If you so desire, donations to The Karrie Beecroft Memorial Nursing Scholarship at the U of W would be appreciated by the family. A private service will be held. Arrangements entrusted to Families First, East Windsor, 1065 Lauzon Road (519-969-5841). Share photos, memories or make a donation at familiesfirst.ca.
