And Take Notice that you are required to enter an appearance to the said suit at the proper office of this Honourable Court on or before the fifteenth day of November, 1904, and in the event of your not doing so with the time limited or obtaining further time the Petitioner will proceed, and the suit be heard and determined, your absence notwithstanding. A copy of the petition filed herein may be had on application to the undersigned free of charge. Dated 28th day of July, 1904. Alice Jane Becroft, nee Williams, asked for a divorce from Albert Ernest Becroft, a butcher, on the ground of desertion. Mr. R. W. Fraser appeared for petitioner. The parties were married at Pyrmont on August 11, 1888, according to the Congregational Church rites. Petitioner said that respondent left her one Sunday afternoon in 1890, when they were living at Liverpool, stating that he was going to a job. She had never seen him since.

A decree nisl was granted, returnable in three months.
