Earl S. Becraft, 72, formerly of Utica, a retired carpenter, died yesterday in the Canan-dalgus Veteran's Administration Hospital.
He was born in Utica. He was educated in Utica schools. He was a World War I veteran.
He was a former member of the American Legion, Charles H. Adrean Post, and Centenary Methodist Church.
He leaves two sisters, Mrs. Ray (Ruth) Walrath, Mrs. J. Ford (Pearl) Ackroyd, Newport Rochey, Florida; four brothers, Clifford, New Hartford, Floyd, Los Angeles, Grant, Trey and Clinton, Syracuse.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 Saturdy from the Surridge and Roberts Memorial Home, with the Rev. Frank L. Scott, pastor of Centenary Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Crown Hill Memorial Park.
