Funeral from the Haight Funeral Home, Rt. 32 near Eldersburg Sykesville on Sunday at 2pm. Interment at New Oakland Cemetery.• His obituary was published in the Sykesville Herald on 21 Sep 1967 in Reisterstown, Baltimore, Maryland, United States. William R. Becraft, retired carpenter and a former resident of the Oakland Mills area, died Thursday, Sept 14, at his home on the Old Hanover Road, Reisterstown. He was 88.
Son of the late Edward and Elizabeth White Becraft, he is survived by hsi widow, Mrs. Emma M. Becraft, a daughter, Mrs. hazel V. Shipley, Reisterstown, a daughter, Mrs. Rhonda R. Groves preceded him in death.
Also surviving are 16 grandchildren, 30 greatgrandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
Services were held Sunday at 2pm at the Haight Funeral Home, Rt.32 Sykesville, Md. The Rev Pablo Tesdorn, pastor of Oakland Methodist Church officiated. Burial was in the New Oakland Cemetery.

Funderal Services will be Wednesday, 11am, at the Thomas D. Fletcher and Son Funderal Home in Westminster, with the Rev. Hubert L. Patrick, pastor of Sandymount United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in New Oakland Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Her pallbearers will be Paul Sipe, Jr., John Diehl III, Owen Weaver, Dave Merryman, Herbert Smith and Walter Smith.• Her obituary was published in the Carroll Co Times on 31 May 1983.
