Rhoda was born at home in Oakland Mills,Carroll Co.,Md. * Rhoda had been married 3 times. * She had a son by Floyd Calvin Burkett while still married to her first husband, William Merryman. His name was Jack Merryman. He was given the Merryman name because she was still married to a Merryman at the time of his birth. She had planned on changing his name later but never did. Her children by her first marriage do not accept him as a Merryman but do acknowlege him as a step-brother. She later married Floyd. * Her cause of death was cancer. * She died at Lutheran Hospital.Baltimore,Md. * Rhoda is buried at New Oakland Church Cemetery with a headstone that has her third husband's name (Charles F.
