William Raymond Becraft, 82, St. Petersburg, FL, died Tuesday at St. Petersburg Hospital.
Born in Kokomo on Jan. 26, 1904, he married Sarah Marjorie Heath on August 20, 1943. She survives.
He was a member of the American Legion and an army veteran of W.W.II. He retired in 1984 as clerk of the Pinellas County Tax Collection Office.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Billy Becraft of Lutz, FL; two daughters, Sarah Bycynski and Judith Becraft, both of St. Petersburg, FL; a sister, Betty Hitt of Gordonsville, MO; six grand-childrenand one great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Young-Nichols Funeral Home with the Rev. Doug Witt officiating. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery, Windfall.
Friends may call Saturday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
