Miss Mamie Becraft passed away last night after a day of great suffering. She was a beautiful girl of 16 summers, and no one can doubt that it was hard for her to give up family friends and this world with all its charming attractions for the youth.
The funeral will take place at 803 Academy street, at 5:30 p.m. tomorrow. Rev. W. A. Waterman will officiate and the church choir will provide music. Her burial will take place at Augusta Monday upon the arrival of the mail train, leaving Kalamazoo at 1:12 p.m.
