Mrs. Bessie May Becraft, 91, wife of the late Jesse Becraft, died Saturday, Aug 30, at her home in Damascus.
She was born in Damascus, a daughter of the late William Edward and Fannie Hyatt Watkins. She was a member of the Montgomery United Methodist Church and the WSCS of the church.
Surviving are her only child, Mrs. Mabel W. Etchison, Damascus, only granddaughter, Mrs. Romona Driskill, Damascus, two great-granddaughters, Mrs. Kristine English, and Billie Fullerton, both of Damascus, one great-great-granddaughter, Jennifer English and one sister, Mrs. Lola Day, Damascus.
Friends may call at the Olin L. Molesworth Funeral Home, Damascus, on Tuesday, Sept. 2, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm, where services will be held at 11 am Wednesday, Sept. 3. The Rev. Robert M. Bradden will officiate. Interment will be in the Montgomery United Methodist Cemetery, Clagettsville.
