Mrs. Bernice Hill Becraft, 25, of 2106 Overbrook Avenue, Estabrook, died yesterday at 6:50 p.m. in a local hospital of critical head and body injuries sustained last Tuesday about 7:30 p.m. when she was struck by an automobile at Virginia Beach Boulevard and Ingleside Road.
A native of Richmond, she had resided in this section practically all of her life.
She was a daughter of the late Cora Stewart Phelps and Walter Phelps.
Besides her father, she is survived by her husband, James Herman Becraft; one son, Walter Robert Hill, of South Norfolk; one sister, Mrs. Laura Kinsishe, of Richmond, and one brother, Whalen Phelps, of Portlock.
She was a member of Rosemont Christian Church.
The body was removed to the Graham Funeral Home, Jackson and Jefferson streets, South Norfolk, where funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 3 p.m.
