JACK DELANEY BECRAFT, age 76, of Wytheville, Virginia passed away Friday, May 26, 2006 in the Wythe County Community Hospital. He was born August 24, 1929 in Wythe County, Virginia, son of the late Frank James and Virginia Coulter Becraft. He was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by a brother, Randolph Becraft. He is survived by: his wife - Doris H. Becraft of the home; two daughters - Della Boskat of Bellville, MI and Anna Virginia Savaria of Wytheville, VA; four sons and daughters-in-law- William Stanley and Donna Dunford of Salem, VA, Robert D. and Karen Dunford of Ann Arbor, MI, David Sexton of Ann Arbor, MI and Crockett and Tabatha Sexton of Wytheville, VA; two cousins - James Becraft of Wytheville, VA and David and Patricia Becraft of Wytheville, VA; nephew - James Bruce Becraft of Ohio; special friend - Charles Foster of Wytheville, VA; 20 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 29, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Barnett Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Don Stansell officiating. Interment will follow in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Barnett Funeral Home, Wytheville, Virginia is in charge of arrangements.

in the Wythe County Community Hospital.

Mrs. Hunley was born in Wythe County, the daughter of the late John and
Molly Clemmons.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Crockett Hunley and an infant son, James Crockett Hunley.

She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Doris L. and Jack
BeCraft, Jean E. Hunley, all of Wytheville, and Mary Madeline Picard of Newport News; three sons and daughters-in-law, Randolph and Marie Hunley, Donald A. and Sue Hunley, all of Wytheville, and William and Lorriane Hunley of Ceres; 16 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.

He was born May 9, 1929 in Pulaski County, Virginia, son of the late Crockett and Helen V. Clemmons Hunley. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of American Legion Post #9, where he served as past commander, past state commander and past district commander. He was the founder of the War Memorial at Withers Park and has been a resident of Wytheville for 33 years. He is survived by: his wife - Marie A. Hunley of Wytheville, VA; three sons and daughter-in-law - Randolph M. Hunley, Jr. of TX, Rick and Sue Hunley and Gary Hunley, all of FL; three daughters and sons-in-law - Rosemarie and Tom LaSalle of FL, Marie and Jorge Guzman and Pamela and Richard Burrill, all of Chicago, IL; two brothers and sisters-in-law - Bill and Lorraine Hunley, and Don and Sue Hunley all of Wytheville, VA; three sisters - Madline Lawson of Newport News, VA, Doris BeCraft and Jean Hunley, all of Wytheville, VA. Twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren also survive.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, July 15, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at West End Cemetery with the Rev. Donald E. Stansell officiating. American Legion Post #9 will conduct graveside military rites. The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Barnett Funeral Chapel.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, July 22, 2012, at the Barnett Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Barnett Funeral Home, Wytheville is handling the arrangements.
