George Beecraft died at the Soldiers' Home in Grand Island last Wednesday. The remains were brought to Blair Friday where the funeral services were held under the auspies of the Grand Army Post and the Odd Fellows Lodge, of which he had been a member for sixty-one years. He was born in New York in 1826 and had lived in this county over forty years.
He was in Co. G, 1st Michigan Calvary.
