• His obituary was published. Mr. Donald Lee Becraft, 76, of South Mountain passed away on Thursday January 2, 2020 at Laurel Lakes Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility, Chambersburg, PA.
Born July 27, 1943 he was the son of the late Tom and Betty (Wagaman) Becraft.
He and his wife of over 44 years, Brenda, were married in July of 1975.
Donald was a longtime employee of Hess Manufacturing in Quincy, PA.
Donald loved spending time outdoors in nature, spending a majority of the time cutting trees and splitting wood.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children; Cynthia Rowley and her husband Eugene, of Waynesboro, James Becraft and his wife Jennifer, of South Mountain; step-children Eddie Woods and his wife Jesslyn of York, PA, Sandy Park and her husband Clarence of Shippensburg, Edna Woods of Chambersburg; Grandchildren Bentley Becraft, Cody Becraft, Amber Brown, Brian Brown, Michael Brown, Shelly Brown, Brandy Gorby,Clarence Park Jr., Devin Park, Jazman Rock, Courtney Shockey, Isis Woods, Josita Woods, JT Woods, Saquon Woods, brother and sisters Tommy Becraft, Connie Shaner, and Pat Becraft.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one grandchild.
A memorial service will be held 6:00 P.M., Sunday, January 5, 2020 at Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 South Broad Street, Waynesboro.
The family will be receiving friends an hour prior to the start of the service.
