Private funeral services Tuesday at the convenience of the family from the Newell-Norris-Leonard Funeral Home. Rev. Dean P. Shaw officiating, Interment Valley Cemetery. Thelma A. Becraft, 84, of Syracuse died Tuesday at Hillside View Nursing Home after a long illness.
A native of Otisco, Mrs. Becraft was a life resident of the Syracuse area. her husband, Clinton, died in 1970.
Mrs. Becraft was a former member of the former Furman Street United Methodist Church.
Surviving are a son, Richard Shanebrook of Schenectady; three daughters, Bonnie Tony of Virginia and Karen Lawyer and Marylu Niedzwiecki, both of Syracuse; two sisters, Gean Gamble and Eleanor Bammesberger, both of Syracuse; 14 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Ballwog & Lunsford Funeral Home. Burial will be in Onondaga Valley Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, 4612 S. Salma St.
