Brenda Faye (Becraft) Fisher, 71, of Zionsville, Ind., (formerly of Frankfort, Ind.), passed away January 30, 2023 surrounded by her family and friends she loved most. She was born January 5, 1952, in Kokomo, Ind. to Rev. "Jack" Walter Becraft and Birdie Mae (Short) Becraft. She married Garry Fisher on January 26, 1973 but later divorced in March 2021.
Brenda worked at K-mart in Frankfort from the day the store opened until the day they closed their doors. She then went on to work at the Clinton County Jail as a cook then went on to work at The Frankfort Times doing accounts receivable. Brenda moved to Noblesville, Ind. in 2010 and went to work for Gannett National Shares Service Center doing accounts receivable until she retired in 2016.
She is survived by her son, David (Joely) Fisher of Frankfort, Ind. and daughter, Sarah Tio, Westfield, Ind and son-in-law, Alex Tio of Sheridan, Ind. She is also survived by sisters: Kathy Martin, Peggy (Robert) Estle, and Jeanie (Rick) Johnson, all of Kokomo, Ind., two grandsons: Tristan Fisher and Bodhi Tio, one granddaughter: Allyson (T.J.) Randolph, and two great-granddaughters: Jaisee Fisher and Lainey Davis. Along with bonus sister: Connie Wolfe Anderson and bonus daughter: Eugenia "Liz" Vazquez and special companion: Bob Kuykendall. She was proceeded in death by both her father and mother.
Per her wishes, there will be no services and she will be cremated. In lieu of flowers, Brenda would like donations made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in her honor.
