Graveside services were conducted Wednesday afternoon at Butler's Chapel Cemetery in Berkeley County for Mrs. Anna May Becraft, 82, a guest of Crownsville (Md.) Hospital Center, formerly of Baltimore, Md., who died Sunday in Greater Baltimore Medical Center. The Rev. Walter Bowers officiated, arrangements were by the Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home.
Born May 5, 1907, in Clearspring, Md. she was a daughter of the late William and Mary Timmons.
She was a member of the Church of Christ in Baltimore.
Twice married, she was preceded in death by both husbands.
Surviving are two daughters, Rosalie Chapman, Martinsburg, and Mary Chilcoat, hagerstown, Md.; a son, Elmer Butts, Sr., Orlando, Florida; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Marge Clark, Martinsburg.
She was preceded in death by a sister Rose Bowman and two brothers, Lester and Walter Timmons.
