• Biography: Roy was born in 1890. Roy Mackler was a farmer in Saline County, living in the rural area between Marshall and Sweet Springs Mo. In about 1909 he married Anna Lucille Becraft, daughter of D.W. Becraft and Annie Grimes Becraft. They were the parents of two children, Ralph Mackler, and Ruth Mackler. He passed away in 1959.

Ralph Mackler continued in a successful farming career in the area of Saline County that has since become Blind Pony Conservation Area. He was married twice. His first marriage brought twins John and Judy who grew up in California. His lifetime companion was his wife, Mary Lou. They had a daughter, Judy who married Gene Schlitzman.

Ruth Mackler married Lee McGinnis and lived in Centralia , MO and San Mateo California, finally retiring to Columbia, MO. They had two children, J.Michael and Patricia.
