ENDEAVOR - Alice D. Breezer, age 81, of Endeavor, passed away on Friday, March 29, 2002 at St. Mary's Hospital Medical Center in Madison.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, April 5, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity United Church of Christ in Endeavor. Rev. Jeff Nicholas will officiate. Inurnment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Endeavor. Friends may call on Friday, April 5, 2002 at Trinity United Church of Christ from 10:00a.m. until the time of services.
Alice Dorothy Breezer was born in Montello, on October 1, 1920 to George and Ida (LaBrenz) Becraft. She was united in marriage to her first husband Raymond McTier on September 16, 1940. He preceeded her in death in 1966. On July 12, 1967 she was united in marriage with her second husband Claude Breezer. He preceded her in death in 1992. Alice will be remembered for her great sewing and quilting. She also loved being outside doing what she enjoyed most, fishing.
Survivors include her children, Dorothy (Lawrence) Barton of Lakeland, Fla., Kenneth (Rosemary) McTier of Portage, Rexford (Paula) McTier of Endeavor; eleven grandchildren, Rhonda (Richard) Stahmer, Roxanne Haley, Chad Achterberg, Joylyn Williams, Kelly McTier, sara McTier, Karen McTier, Thomas (Judy) McTier, Holly (Hans) Peterson, Timothy (Reiko) McTier, and Ryan (Natalie Dunn) McTier; four step-grandchildren, Harland (Sally) Breezer, Kenneth (Nancy) Breezer, Rocky Breezer, and Pam (John) Van Schoyck; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters, Eleanor Krivanek and Florance (Arthur) Wallstead; brothers, Howard (Uva) Becraft and John (Maureen) Becraft; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Alice was also preceded in death by her parents, her two husbands, a daugher Deanna, five sisters and five brothers.
Port-Axtell Community Funeral Home of Portage is assisting the family.
