• Her obituary was published in the A-3 Enterprise on 8 Dec 1983. Funeral services for Bessie Heldreth Phillippi, age 90, of Wytheville, who died Wednesday morning in a Marion hospital, will be conducted Friday at 11 am in the Chapel of the Grubb Funeral Home. The Reverand Richard Hall will be officiating with interment following in the East End Cemetery. She was the widow of Rev. J. Marco Phillippi.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs Virginia BeCraft, Wytheville; two grandsons, Rudolph BeCraft and Jack BeCraft; one great grandson, Brian BeCraft.
The family will receive friends at the Grubb Funeral Home from 7 pm to 9 pm tonight (Thursday). Grubb Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
