James R. Beecroft, 67, of 207D Lincoln St., Duncannon, died Wednesday at Penn State Hershey Medical Center.

Born in Ashland, Dec. 8, 1932,� he was a son of the late Robert and Ethel Temple Beecroft.

He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.

He was a retired employee of the state Department of General Services.

He was a former deacon of Duncannon Presbyterian Church and a member of the Friendship Fire Company.

Surviving are his wife the former Mary V. Miller; two brothers, Harry and Joseph, both of Frackville; nieces and nephews.
