MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Rosalee Virginia Butts Chapman, 80, of Martinsburg, died Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2007, at her home.

Born March 7, 1927, in Martinsburg, she was the daughter of the late Charles Edward Butts and Anna May Timmons Butts Becraft.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis V. Chapman.

She was a homemaker and a seasonal worker for Musselman.

She is survived by three daughters, Juanita C. Sperry of Inwood, W.Va., and Barbara D. Sperry and Patricia G. Shaffer, both of Martinsburg; one sister, Mary Becraft of Falling Waters, W.Va.; one brother, Elmer L. Butts Sr. of Jasper, Fla.; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be Monday at 3 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, Martinsburg. Chaplain John Waidande will officiate. Burial will be in Butler's Chapel Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the Panhandle, 122 Waverly Court, Martinsburg, WV 25403.
