• Event: Brother Joseph's Journal entry, 6 Jun 1847. Sunday June 6th. I got up in good time, went to tell Priest Williamson that I would not be with him at Driglington, as I had to attend my brother's wedding which I saw solemnized at Bradford Parish Church about 10 o'clock in the forenoon between Annie Warvell and himself by the vicar. After leaving the church we went to my sister Mary Ann's where we foretook of a good breakfast. After this we went to my Father's house, and in due time we sat down to a good dinner. We spent
our time singing till 4. After tea we sang a little and had a little conversation, and about 8 we took leave of our brother and his beloved wife who repaired to their home at Leech. Thus I spent a happy day, the first entire Sunday I have spent away from meetings this last 4 years except once or twice when afflicted.
