Vashti (listed as Washington in the burial records) Graham was buried in an unmarked grave in the Graham family plot on December 14, 1870. Her husband, George, died and was buried in the same plot a week before.

The only marker on the Graham family plot belongs to that of her daughter, Martha Graham, who married George Hemingway.
