Wilbur was born September 3, 1931 in Anderson and had resided in Muncie at Rosewood Manor for the last 12 years of his life.
He had worked for Nicholson File Company for several years.
Wilbur loved going to church and serving the Lord, and he attended The Covenant Partners Ministries Church in Muncie.
He is survived by two sisters, Virginia "Ginny" Moon of Lapel, and Barbara Gordon of Florida; and a sister in law, Bessie Becraft of Anderson. Wilbur had two very special nieces, Beckie Becraft-Collins (Barry) of Anderson, and Lisa Morrison (Larry) of Lapel. He also had several more nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph Sr. and Mayetta Becraft; a brother, Ralph Becraft Jr.; and two sisters, Violet Green, and Lucille Shupe.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at Anderson Memorial Park, with Pastor Linda McBride officiating.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Rosewood Manor for the love and care they gave Wilbur these past years.
Wilbur was a very loving and caring person and will be deeply missed by all.
