Born in Chicago, IL on April 7, 1910, she was a long time resident of Elmhurst, IL prior to moving to Venice in 1974. In 2005, she moved to Downers Grove. Lois was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. She was a member of the Venice United Church of Christ and the 1st Congregational Church in Elmhurst. Survivors include her son, Michael (Peggy) of Plymouth, MI; four grandchildren: Robert J. (Cathy) of Downers Grove, Kim Oliva of Villa Park, IL, Ron J. Lois Beecroft, 97, Downers Grove, Ill., formerly of Venice, died April 29, 2007.
A graveside service will be at 9 a.m. Friday at Venice Memorial Gardens. Farley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Born in Chicago, on April 7, 1910, she was a longtime resident of Elmhurst, Ill., prior to moving to Venice in 1974.
In 2005 she moved to Downers Grove.
Lois was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. She was a member of the Venice United Church of Christ and the First Congregational Church in Elmhurst.
Survivors include her son, Michael and wife, Peggy of Plymouth, Mich.; four grandchildren, Robert J. and wife, Cathy of Downers Grove, Kim Oliva of Villa Park, Ill,, Ron J. and wife, Tina of Elmhurst, Brandi of Canton, Mich.; four great-grandchildren, Christopher and Jeff Oliva, both of Villa Park, Barbara and Tami Beecroft, both of Downers Grove.
