Hugh McLean, 65. merchant at St. Joseph, Mo., and a former resident of Council Bluffs, died at St. Joseph Sunday afternoon of injuries suffered when struck by a hit and run driver there Dec. 5.

Mr. McLean left Council Bluffs about twenty years ago.

He is survived by his widow, Olive, and one daughter, Mu riel, at home.
The body will be brought to Council Bluffs. Funeral services will be held at Cutler's chapel Wednesday at 10 a. m. Burial will be in Walnut Hill cemetery.

• His funeral was held Council Bluffs Nonpareil on 16 Dec 1937. Funeral services for Hugh McLean were held at Cutler's chapel Wednesday at 10 a. m., Elder Frank McDonald officiating. Music was furnished by Walter Schneider and Mrs. W. T. Spanswick. Pallbearers were A. E. Dempsey, S. J. Harding, F. C. Fullberg, H. M. Kerns, O. A. Currie and W. T. Spanswick. Burial was in Walnut Hill cemetery.
