• Her obituary was published. October 10, 2006 Betty S. Becraft, 87, of Syracuse, passed away with loved ones by her side on Tuesday, October 10 at Community General Hospital. Born in Utica, she resided in "The Valley" most of her life. She retired after 27 years from Community General Hos-pital where she continued as a volunteer for another five years. She was a member of the OnondagaHill Senior Citizens singing group. Betty enjoyed a full schedule of entertaining, taking motor trips, and spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard G. Becraft in 1960. Betty is survived by her son, Bradford W. Becraft of Hamilton County, Adk., and grandson, Richard Becraft of Tampa, FL. A Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 21 at Onondaga Valley Presbyterian Church, where she was a member for over 50 years, 275 W. Seneca Turnpike.
