At the Crider chapel, Elm Grove services are to be held at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning for Charles T Hoblitzell, 56, who died Saturday at Ohio Valley General hospital. Rev. John H. Strock of Stone Presbyterian church, will officiate with interment in Peninsula cemetery.
Mr. Hoblitzell, a former employee of the Elm Grove Mining company, was born in Wheeling, a son of Mrs. Jeanette Cowen Hoblitzell and the late Ross Hoblitzell. He resided at Valley View.
Mr. Hoblitzell was a veteran of both the army and navy, and was active for years in Boy Scout work.
Surviving are his wife, Minnie M. Beecroft Hoblitzell, one son, Charles Paul Hoblitzell, at home; his mother, Mrs. Jeannette Hoblitzell, of Elm Grove, one sister, Mrs. Paul Moore, also of Elm Grove, and five brothers, Elmore and Lester Hoblitzell, both of Elm Grove, Robert Hoblitzell, Charleston, Alfred Hoblitzell, of Edgdale, and Russell Hoblitzell, of Wheeling.

Services will be held tomorrow at 10:30 a.m. in Kepners 107 Ivey avenue, Elm Grove, for Mrs. Minnie M Hoblitzell, 67, resident of Valley View, who died yesterday at 8:15 a.m. in the McCarty Nursing home St. Clairsville. The Rev. O. L Gilmore will officiate and burial will follow in Peninsula cemetery. The deceased was born in Ohio county and attended the Stone Presbterian church. Her husband Charles T. died in 1940. Surviving are a son, Paul and two sisters Mrs. Ann Sonda and Mrs. Pearl Porter, both of Elm Grove.
