Impressive funeral services for E. D. Brackenbury, 76, former Cassia county sheriff, and Twin Falls county resident for 15 years, who died Wednesday at his home near Twin Falls, following several weeks' illnes, were held at the Drake chapel here Friday afternoon.
The Latter Day Saints church was in charge of the services, J. E. Allred and George Ward officiating. Musical numbers were supplied by Mrs. Claude Brown and Mrs. June Kirkman.
Four sons, George and Clarence Brackenbury, Filer; Henry Brackenbury, Albion; and Howard Brackenbury, Almo; one son-in-law, Joseph Edwards, Filer, and a grandson, William Durfee, wree the pallbearers.
In addition to his sons, Mr. Brackenbury is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Kate Durfee, Buhl; Mrs. J.N. Edwards, Filer, and Mrs. E. R. Durfee, Almo.

Another Cassia county pioneer answered the final summons to the Great Beyond when Mrs. E. D. Brackenbury passed away at her home in filer, yesterday morning, Feb 13th, at the age of 68 years. Mrs. Brackenbury was taken with dropsy about two weeks ago caused from leakage of the heart from which shee has been suffering for the past two year.s The funeral services will be held tomorrow (Friday) afternoon in Filer and interment will be made there.
Mr. and Mrs. Brackenbury came to Cassia County about 1884 and made their home at Almo until 1916, when they removed to Filer, after having sold their farm in this county.
Mrs. Brackenbury is survived by her husband, four sons, George, Henry, Howard and Clarence, all residing at Filer; three daughters, Mrs. James Durfee of Filer, Mrs. Joseph Edwards and Mrs. Edwin Durfee, both of Almo, all of whom were present when the end came.
