• Her obituary was published in the Hazleton Plain Speaker on 18 May 1935. Hazleton Plain Speaker; Saturday, May 18, 1935:
Mrs. Mary Zickler, of 333 West Third street, widow of Henry Zickler, who died several years ago, passed away at 12:30 o'clock today noon at the State Hospital where she was under treatment the past several weeks. She was a resident of Hazleton for a number of years. Prior to locating here, the family lived at Stockton. Mrs. Zickler was a member of the Diamond M.E. church.

Her survivors are two daughters: Mrs. Luther Stark of Hazleton; Miss Pearl Zickler, at home; five grandchildren: Mrs. James Vowler, of Upper Darby; Miss Mabel Jacobs, of Philadelphia; Miss Henrietta Jacobs, Leonard Stark and Harry Stark, all of Hazleton; three sisters, Mrs. Harry Polgrain, Mrs. George Keuch, both of Hazleton and Mrs. George Trevena of Washington, D.C., and one brother, Walter Lynn, of Hunlock's Creek.

daughter of Matthew Beacroft and Elizabeth Thompson, both born in England. She was the widow of Henry Zickler.
