With sadness and heavy hearts, the family of Carolyn announces her passing on October 15, 2016.



Beloved wife of Douglas for 54 loving years. Devoted mother of John (Jennifer) and Deborah (Gil). Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Jordan, Michael, Nicole, Taylor, Amanda, Rileigh, and Cody. Much loved sister-in-law and best friend to Lucille. Adored sister to Norma, Jane, Stuart (Barbara), Dee, Eric (predeceased) and admired aunt to Amy, Trevor, Julian, and Matthew. Lifelong cherished friend of Claire, Claudia, Janet, Michelle, and Barb (Buttercup).



Special heartfelt thanks to the staff of Lakeridge Health Cancer Centre/Oncology Unit. "Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day, unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed and very dear".



Join Carolyn's family in celebrating her life on Wednesday October 19, 2016 at Mount Lawn Funeral Home & Cemetery, 21 Garrard Road, Whitby, 647-370-6836. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am in the chapel followed by a Celebration of Life Reception until 2:00pm.



In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lakeridge Health Foundation Cancer Centre would be greatly appreciated.
