Marie (Beecroft) Hoffman, 82, passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at Wellspan Health (York Hospital) after a battle with Heart Disease.

Mrs. Hoffman was born in Philadelphia on January 8, 1943, daughter of the late Melvin F. and Dorothy M. Beecroft. Marie was a graduate of Central York High School Class of 1961 and she attended Penn State York. She retired from Wellspan/York Hospital after over 30 years employment.

She was the wife of the late George (Buck) Hoffman with whom she shared 53 years of marriage. Marie is survived by a son, Jeffrey Hoffman and his wife, Linda Hoffman of Spring Grove; a daughter, Teresa (Hoffman) Rebert and her husband, Gregory Rebert of Seminole, Florida; five grandchildren, Ashley, Alec and Zachary Rebert and Kyle and Luke Hoffman; two great-grandsons Oliver and Eli; one brother, Thomas Beecroft. Marie was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Elliott; and her brother, Melvin Beecroft.

Marie was an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

There will be a Celebration of Life. Saturday, September 20, 2025 at Brookside Park, Building # 2. 4054 Fox Run Rd. Dover, PA 17315.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the York County ASPCA or a Pet Rescue of your choice.
