Mrs. Mabel Beecroft Wight, 207 West Washington avenue, bookkeeper at the Iowa School for the Deaf, died at her home Wednesday morning after six weeks' illiness.
Mrs. Wight was born in Council Bluffs and lived here most of her life. She was a member of the Reorganized Latter Day Saints church.
Surviving are two sons, Vinton of Lincoln, Neb., and Preston of Council Bluffs; three daughters, Mrs. Elmer L. Johnson of Underwood, Mrs. Donald Jensen of Underwood, and Mrs. Delmar Prine of Falls City, Neb.; her husband, Paul P. Wight of Lincoln, Neb.; two brothers, William beecroft of Eldora and Harry Beecroft of Des Moines, and three sisters, Mrs. A. F. Timm of Des Moines, Mrs. Mary Koupal of Council Bluffs and Mrs. Olive McLean of St. Joseph, Mo.
The body is at the Woodring funeral home. Burial will be in Walnut Hill cemetery.
