• Her obituary was published in the News-Shield.com on 5 Oct 2006. Juanita Joyce Beecroft, 72, formerly of Solon Sprigs, Wis., died Monday, Oct. 2, 2006, at Middle River Health and Rehab, Town of Hawthorne, while surrounded by her family.
She was born Jan. 7, 1934, at Barron to the late Harry and Annette (Smith) Harbaugh. Juanita married Kenneth Beecroft. He preceded her in death on Sept. 30, 1991.
Surviving are a special companion, Edmund Chojnowski of Solon Springs; sons, George Harbaugh of Eau Claire, Kenneth (Kathleen) Beecroft of Solon Springs, Eugene Beecroft and Jeff Beecroft, both of Chippewa Falls; daughters, Shirley Ostman of Rice Lake, Dorothy McKercher of Superior and Debra Beecroft of Jim Falls; a sister, Clara Mae Greenaugh of Oregon; 18 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Kenneth, James and Clarence Harbaugh; and grandchildren, Kenneth III, Kimberly and Sidney.
Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 5, from Brown Funeral Home, Solon Springs, Pastor John Malone officiating, with burial at Wayside Cemetery, Barron.
