Gowned in a dress which she designed Jo Ann Beecroft became the bride of William Meredith Plummer recently in the calvary Methodist church in San Jose. Jo Ann is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alba R. Beecroft of San Jose and a graduate of San Jose State College. Her bridegroom is the son of the T. Basil Plummers of Clinten Avenue, Alameda.

The gown was fashioned with a redingote of imported Chantilly lace over paper taffeta with long sleeves and a Peter Pan collar. Her tulle finger-tip veil fell from a lace cap covered with seed pearls. A shower bouquet of white carnations completed the bridal ensemble. Her attendants, Mrs. Robert Storm of Glendale, honor matron, Betty Everett and Lorna King, were attired similarly in carnation blue taffeta. Stoles edged with lace daisies matched the bandeaux worn in their hair. French beuquests of Esther Reed daisies were carried.

Mrs. Strom is the former Barbara Beecroft, sister of the bride. Miss Everett was a member of the bride's sorority, Alpha Phi, on the San Jose campus.

William, better known as Bill was a Sigma Alpha Epsilon at San Jose State, prior to his graduation. Two of his SAE brothers, Gordon Richards and Stephen Everett, ushered guests, as did a cousin of the bride, James Custer. Best man for his friend was James Hatch.

For her daughter's wedding and subsequent reception, held at the Beecroft home in San Jose, Mrs. Beecroft chose a two-piece silk linen dress of a mauve gue with matching shoes. White hat and gloves and a corsage of white stepanolis accented the costume.

The just wed couple honeymooned at Feather River Inn and at Lake Tahoe. They are now at home on Clinton Avenue in Alameda.
