Born in Ashland, Dec. 8, 1932, he was a son of the late Robert and Ethel Temple Beecroft.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
He was a retired employee of the state Department of General Services.
He was a former deacon of Duncannon Presbyterian Church and a member of the Friendship Fire Company.
Surviving are his wife the former Mary V. Miller; two brothers, Harry and Joseph, both of Frackville; nieces and nephews.

She was born in Coal Township, May 9, 1939, a daughter of the late Clarence "Sam" and Marie (Tschopp) Miller.
She was a graduate of Trevorton High School.
Mary worked for the State of Pennsylvania for the Department of Workman's Compensation.
She was a member and elder at the Duncannon Presbyterian Church.
Mary also volunteered for Meals on Wheels, blood drives and the local library.
She is survived by her sister Bertha Lagerman and her husband Albert Sr.; nephews, Albert Lagerman, Jr. and his wife, Ginger, Jeffrey Lagerman and Michael Lagerman; great-nieces Mara Snyder and her husband, Jesse, Noel Lagerman, Makayla Lagerman, Kelsey Willard and her husband, Ben, and Madison Laerman; great-nephew Nick Lagerman; and great-great-nephew, Elijah Snyder.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James, to whom she was married April 13, 1963; and her brother, John Miller.
BEECROFT \emdash Mary Beecroft, 77, of Duncannon. A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Duncannon Presbyterian Church, 3 N. High St., Duncannon, followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. with Pastors Suzanne and Roger Uittenboggaard officiating. Interment will be in Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Duncannon Presbyterian Church at the address above. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ronald C.L. Smith Funeral Home.
