Terri Rose (Cockrell) Beecroft, 61, of Olive Branch, MS, passed away at home on March 26, 2024. Friends and family are invited to a gathering to celebrate Terri's life on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m at Coleman Funeral Home in Olive Branch.
Terri was born on March 5, 1963, in Memphis, TN. She owned her own automotive business, Byhalia Auto Sales and B & B Recovery. Terri enjoyed spending her time outside whether it was working in the yard and flower beds or laying out by the pool tanning. She made sure that her house and mantle were decorated for every holiday season. Terri loved anything related to Christmas time and especially loved her Hallmark Christmas movies. Terri also enjoyed going to casinos or playing a good game of Bingo. Sunday dinners were an important ritual for her, and she made sure that all of her family were there. Another ritual she loved was making sure her nails and hair were done and always enjoyed a good girls day spent shopping. Many of her close friends knew her as the "Mouth of the South" because she was always talking to someone. Terri also cherished spending time with her grandchildren and her dog, Gabby. Terri will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her.
Terri is preceded in death by her parents, Greta Jane Palmertree Cockrell and Willlie Casey Cockrell.
Terri is survived by her husband, Rick Beecroft of Olive Branch; daughters, Terricka Michelle Lansdell (Justin) of Olive Branch, and Allee Ann Kizer (John) of Olive Branch; grandsons, Brycen Lansdell of Olive Branch, and Connor Lansdell of Olive Branch; granddaughter, Ximena "Hannah" Lucas of Southaven, MS; brother-in-laws, Howard "Goober" Norwood (Wanda) of Olive Branch, and Shawn Beecroft (Katie) of Atoka, TN; mother-in-law, Betty Beecroft of Olive Branch; close friends, Caren Wilbanks of Byhalia, Cheryl Sprabery of Hernando Beach, FL, and Marie Baldwin of Olive Branch; beloved granddogs, Amelia and Kimber, and her own fur-baby daughter, Gabby; and several extended family members.
