• Her obituary was published. Mildred Ruth Becraft, 89, of Everton passed away Wednesday afternoon, February 3, 2016 at her residence.
She was born April 23, 1926 in Muddy Creek Mountain, West Virginia, the daughter of Donie and Annie Violet Stone Abbott.
She had been married to Walter L. Firsich, of Batesville, IN and was later married to Leslie V. Beacraft.
For many years, she had help operate a hotel and restaurant in West Virginia. She had also been employed at PSC an insulation packaging company in Connersville.
She loved to make herbal remedies, fishing, gardening, picking berries and was very proud of her Indian ancestry.
Survivors include three daughters, Elsie (Ron) Eckstein, Annita (Matthew) Montgomery and Annette Firsich, all of Connersville; a son, Christopher (Sue) Firsich, of Connersville; a daughter-in-law, Karren Firsich, of Connersville; eleven grandchildren, Rebecca Boulware, Brett Firsich, Dakota Firsich, Raychael McDaniel, Martha House, Esther Eckstein, Glen Eckstein, Preston Frye, Charlie Hudson, Charity Davis and Anthony Moore; many great-grandchildren; a sister, Nina Brockman, of Batesville, IN; three step-children, Cheryl Isaacs, Charles Becraft and Leslie Becraft; a number of step-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husbands, a son, Charles Firsich; three grandchildren, Charles Firsich Jr., Jonathan "Jona" Firsich and Darren Moore.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 PM Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home with Eric Hopkins officiating. Burial will be in Everton Cemetery.
