• Marriage: UNDERHILL -- BEECROFT

The marriage took place in Collier Street Methodist Church on Tuesday morning of Irene Gladys, elder daughter of Mr. Thomas Beecroft, to Stanley Gordon, oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Underhill, Aurora. The Rev. H. Moore conducted the ceremony in the presence of immediate friends only. The bride who was unattended wore a jersey blue taffeta travelling suit and grey hat. Immediately after the cremony the bride and groom left for Tornoto on the 12:05 train en route to Banffand Victoria. On their return Mr. and Mrs. Underhill will reside on Owen street. The groom who is a member of the Underhill firm, is removing to town to become manager of the local factory.

Those in attendance from a distance were: Mr. and Mrs. Underhill, Aurora, parents of the groom; Mr. D. Beecroft, New York, uncle of the bride; Miss C. Lightfoot, Toronto.
