Services will be at 11:30 a.m. tomorrow at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel with burial in Memorial Park. Mr. Beecroft was a member of Colonial Park United Methodist Church. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Bethana Morgan Beecroft; a son, Thomas Roy Beecroft of Lenexa, Kansas; two brothers, James Beecroft of Olive Branch, Miss., and F.W. • Her obituary was published in The Commercial Appeal. BETHANA M. BEECROFT, 90, went to be with the Lord on October 12, 2007. She was born in El Dorado, AR to Purnie and Roy Morgan. She graduated from El Dorado High School and business school. While working at McDavid Buick, she met her husband of 40 years, Hugh. They moved frequently with his company, Delta Air Lines, making life-long friends at each stop. She and Hugh traveled all over the United States and the world, and she continued even after his death in 1984. She was an avid bridge player and letter writer as well. She wrote and kept in touch with dear friends, some for over 60 years. She was a member of Colonial Park Methodist Church for over 43 years. She is survived by her son, Tom Beecroft and his wife, Kathy and granddaughter, Meredith, all of Denver, CO. Also, a niece, Jeanie McKenzie, her husband, Robert and their daughter, Wendy Tinkelenberg and husband, Matt, all of North Carolina. Services will be held Tuesday, October 16 at 11 a.m. at Memphis Funeral Home on Poplar, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memphis Funeral Home Poplar (Published in The Commercial Appeal).
